Hearts are fun to draw. I have a very poor old sketch of a sheep's heart from yr 8 science (before and after dissection) and I just use that to give me a general outline/reminder of what they look like. But it's fun to play around with the colours and shapes. I like red, black and gold the best, and turning that layer of fat around the outside into large-ish blood vessels.
